Traveling for work and fitting in exploring is very difficult. And being able to taste and try the local food suffered on this trip. I ate a doner kabob in an ally, a harty stew in a pub, some sea food on a beach, and the worst bagel ever on a canal. The stand out food item I had was an iced coffee. In Amsterdam they don't make iced coffee like back home. These involve 3 shots of espresso and 2 large dollops of very thick and creamy ice cream.
"oh you blend it?"
"yeah... Is that ok?"
Blended together you get a thick, very sweet, very delicious iced coffee.
