Typically when we set out to camp we head north, to upstate New York. But we got a hot lead on camping in New Jersey and opted to drive south into the Pine barrens. What we discovered was an amazing camp ground of lightly sandy ground and enough privacy to feel like your in the woods.

We set up a robust camp, hammock, blanket, and lighting all around. The night consisted of wine, cheese, and some amazing meals in our new grill basket. The entire group rallied around the fire to grill, salmon and a plethora of vegetables. For desert Clara whipped up an amazing tart in our new Japanese cast iron pot. The night wrapped up with more wine and a few rounds of the empathy card game.
