Our 4th of July started without plans. 10 am a quick text landed us sitting outside having a beer. An off-handed comment about lobster rolls brought us to Red Hook sitting on a beach having a lobster roll and splitting a key lime pie. Two hours before the fireworks we step out onto a friends roof and crack open a beer. The sun slowly sets and local fireworks start going off warming us up for the big finale.
