Heading back east felt like a blur. A week of driving long days, hoping between hotels, and an intense wedding had worn us out, plus we have less time for the return trip.
On the way out we had bought a wedding present but when checking the car in Kansas it was gone. Our theory was the bag had fallen out on the back country road we "short cutted" through. We re-traced our route to that same road, and nothing. The mystery unsolved.
